Pumpkin Patch

We took the kids to the Ashland Berry Farm this afternoon. We went on a hayride and picked out a few pumpkins. Here is Kaleb testing out the straw... Getting bigger by the minute...
Kaleb had such a good time looking for pumpkins! He was so tired tonight from all that running!

Say cheese!

Kathryn was very impressed with the hayride, as you can see! She fell asleep while we were walking in the pumpkin patch. I'm sure she will have more fun next year!

Looking After His Little Sister

One morning, Kathryn was a little fussy in the bouncy seat, so Kaleb decided to bring her a toy to help and cheer her up. Kathryn is so blessed to have such a compassionate big brother!

The cold is here...at least for a few days!

A smiling Kathryn in her new hat Memaw made for her...
Kaleb enjoying his little sister. I just love Kathryn's face in this one...

...and Kaleb's hand on her belly in this one! What a sweet boy!

Kaleb at Deep Run Park in Richmond. We had a playdate with some friends one afternoon a couple weeks ago. He had such a good time and didn't want to leave!

Kaleb and Kathryn all bundled up!

Kathryn in one of her many pretty dresses...doesn't she look enthused?!

Random Pictures

Kaleb has several Halloween costumes to choose from this year. Josh's sister, Amy, bought him a few last year when they went on sale. He will not be a dragon this year, as it is a LITTLE small around his face. Poor kid...he was all scrunched up, but it sure was cute (and funny...I was crying from laughing so hard!).

Kaleb is still doing so well with Kathryn. He loves giving her hugs and kisses and will occasionally play with her. Lately, he will get a little upset with her when she fusses in the car. We will hear, "KA-TYN!" and "HUSH!" every now and then. Too funny!

Touch a Truck

We took Kaleb and Kathryn to "Touch a Truck" this afternoon. It is held at a middle school in Richmond, where they basically have a bunch of big trucks and tractors for the kids to climb on. Kaleb was in heaven! We went to the event because Josh was asked to dress up as the recycling mascot...which meant that we got in for free! It was pretty funny, as Kaleb was pretty scared of this recycling mascot...and also had no idea that it was actually his Daddy!

They also had other activities for the children...here is Kaleb playing in one of the bounce houses.
